If you have any complaints about an attorney or law firm we have referred to you,
please let us know right away. We will do our best to solve the problem, and if the
problem warrants it, we will discontinue referring to the attorney or law firm in
question.
Please make sure you let the attorney you are working with know you are dissatisfied
and what your specific concerns are. Some of the best attorneys neglect to properly
communicate with their clients due to their heavy workload. If you feel you are being
neglected, be certain to put your complains in writing. Lawyers take particular heed to
statements made in writing and your letter would be evidence that you communicated your
concerns to the attorney if you ever need to make a formal complaint against him or her.
Your local bar association should have a process for making such a formal complaint, and
the American Bar Association maintains a list of Lawyer Disciplinary Agencies that
take these complaints.
